As a child, both of my parents worked hard. My father worked countless weekends as a bartender as he built an insurance agency. My mother was a schoolteacher who consistently worked on improving her craft. By the time she retired, she had earned 4 master’s degrees. Along with work, they both gave back to the town, the church, and organizations they cared about. As I got older, I began to realize the important roles they both played in the community. People would always approach me to tell me they knew my parents and followed up with a story on the positive impact they left on them. These values were instilled in me, and I knew I wanted to have the same impact on my community.
After graduating from Dedham High School in 2001, I went on to attend Bentley College where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance & Accounting in 2005. I spent a few years working in the corporate world as an accountant, but I did not get the satisfaction I wanted. In 2007, I decided to make a change. With the values I grew up with, I knew I wanted a career that allowed me to help people, enhance my education, and be a positive impact on the community. That is when I began my career in the financial services industry.
Throughout my career, there have been many challenges in the financial markets and economy. While learning and working through them, I began to gain deeper knowledge of ideas and strategies to help people through these times. My passion shaped my business and focused my skills on two important areas; helping clients build and incorporate a retirement income plan, as well as a defined succession plan, ensuring the smooth transition of making sure our things go where we want them to.
In my free time, you can find me within the community. I live in Dedham with my wife Laura, and our two children. I am an active member of Celestial Lodge of Freemasons, Norfolk Golf Club, former Town Meeting Member, and currently elected to the Board of Assessors.
